Training resumes for Sport-Études and addition of private classes

The resumption of activities was not announced by the government during the last conference on January 13^th, 2022, which is why we have to cancel the regular class sessions scheduled from January 17^th to 23^rd inclusively. Gymini is committed to the mental health of our athletes and it is important for us to continue to fight inactive lifestyles and isolation. In order to keep our athletes active, we are pleased to inform you that we have added time slots for private classes from January 17^th to 23^rd.

Registration begins today, Friday, January 14^th, 2022, starting at 6pm.

IMPORTANT: Registrations can be processed online only.

RECREATIONAL SECTOR

Training resumes for Sport-Études and sport concentration on Monday

Good news for our sport-études athletes! The activities within the framework of a particular teaching project can be resumed as of January 17^th. Therefore, sports training within the framework of these projects can take place while respecting health rules. In order to ensure a safe resumption, we ask that athletes wear their masks at all times during training.

Postponements of competitions scheduled in January

With the current measures, we have received information about postponement of competitions scheduled in January.

GYMNASTICS:

The Wimgym Cup will not be held on January 28^th-30^th. The organizing committee would like to reschedule the competition for the weekend of March 25^th-27^th in the Rosemere gym.
Gymnastique Québec has decided to cancel all scheduled January and February events. Given the cancellation of the Quebec Games, the FRJQ will not be moved.
Gymnastique Québec is currently working on a scenario to revisit the concepts of the Regional Challenge, the Provincial Cup and the Quebec Championships.

CHEERLEADING :

Frostfest: The competition was supposed to take place on January 22nd. The federation wishes to postpone the competition to a later date.
Championnat des Étoiles : The championship was supposed to take place on January 29th. The organizing committee wishes to postpone the competition to a later date. We have contacted Le Concorde and you should receive a cancellation confirmation within the next few days.

More details will be coming regarding the rescheduling of these competitions. As soon as we have more information, we will inform you.
