End of the 2020-2021 cheerleading season

February 3 at 1:30 p.m. Vaudreuil-Dorion – On Tuesday, the government announced the continuation of health measures concerning sports in the red zone, of which Montreal and Montérégie are part. This decision by the Legault government maintains the pressure on the sports community and signals the end of G-Force’s competitive season for 2020-2021.

For the past year, we have made every effort to renew ourselves and offer a service to our members while respecting the measures imposed. However, the time has come to realize that resuming normal activities in the gym will not be possible in the near future. It is therefore with great sadness that we are forced to end the competitive season for our athletes.

Concerned about the well-being of our community, we will continue to offer, on a punctual and complimentary basis, virtual activities. Depending on the evolution of Public Health guidelines, we may add private lessons and open-gym practices in the gymnasium.

In summary, the actions taken by G-Force until June 2021:

• Measures taken:
  • End of the competitive season. The inability to return to the gym in the near future forces us to end the season for all of our competitive teams permanently.
  • Maintenance of the activities of the sports concentration at the Chêne-Bleu high school. Since the activities of this group of athletes are part of an academic setting, all activities will be continued on weekday afternoons. The presence and participation of the athletes remain mandatory as planned as part of their academic curriculum.
  • Additional à la carte service offer. In order to meet the desire to move of many and above all, in order to stay in contact, G-Force will offer the community, à la carte These activities will vary according to the measures put in place by Public Health, but may include virtual private lessons or, when Public Health allows us, private lessons and open-gym practice in the gymnasium. • Consequences on purchases:
  • Cancellation of competition and training fees as of February 8. All training fees will be suspended for the period of February 8 to June 13. Competition fees will also be waived. Client accounts will be reviewed during the week of February 8 to reset everyone’s balance to $ 0.
  • Membership, development fund, and clothing and uniform fees are not canceled or refunded.
  • Adjustment of accounts. Scheduled payments will be adjusted to reflect customer account balances.
