Southwest Quebec Games Regional Final

GYMINI ATHLETES WILL REPRESENT THE SOUTHWEST AT THE QUEBEC GAMES

Last weekend, Gymini athletes had an appointment in Chateauguay for the regional final of the Jeux-du-Québec, to determine who would represent the Southwest in Rivière-du-Loup this year.

We are proud to announce that Mahélie Woo Sun Cheong and Orélie Lefebvre will be the proud representatives of Club Gymini in the South West delegation.

Mahélie Woo Sun Cheong had a wonderful performance on all apparatus winning gold medal on vault, gold medal on uneven bars, silver medal on balance beam and silver medal on total apparatus .

Orélie Lefebvre: won the bronze medal on the vault table, the bronze medal on the floor as well as the bronze medal in the total apparatus.

Ève-Marie Leblanc will act as a reservist with the Southwest team. She won two bronze medals, one on beam and the other on floor. She was able to demonstrate a high standard of quality of execution on all the devices.

Mia Dion will also act as a reserve for the Southwest team. We are very proud of his double back somersault performed for the first time in competition as well as his beam without fall.

Registration for the 2023 winter session

The Club offers 7 acrobatic sports in 6 gymnasiums on the territory of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and it is already time to register for the winter session. Registration is done online, from Tuesday, November 1 at 9 a.m., at www.clubgymini.org/inscriptions
