CLUB GYMINI SHINES AT THE 2ND NATIONAL SELECTION OF WOMEN’S ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS

Vaudreuil-Dorion – The Gymini Club took part in the 2nd national women’s artistic gymnastics selection in the N9, N10 and High-Performance (HP) categories, which was held on March 18 and 19 at Antoine-Brossard high school in Brossard , with Gym Richelieu as host club.

The Gymini Club was represented by two exceptional athletes: Mia Dion, 15 years old and student athlete in the Sport-Studies program at Chêne-Bleu high school in Saint-Lazare, and Eve-Marie Leblanc, 14 years old and a student athlete in the same program at Chêne-Bleu secondary school in Saint-Polycarpe.

Despite a few pitfalls, Mia Dion maintained an exemplary attitude commensurate with her level of competition and managed to improve the quality of her routines. For her part, Eve-Marie Leblanc had an excellent competition, considerably increasing her total score, which earned her a place in the Quebec final. In particular, her outstanding performance on the balance beam earned her a well-deserved gold medal.

Club Gymini is extremely proud of its athletes and continues to support them in their pursuit of success in women’s artistic gymnastics.
